History

Our Founder and Chief Instructor Carl W. Nuzzo, USAF Retired, started Accessible Aviation in Feburary 1999 with the goal of bringing the BEST of Military Flight Training Techniques to General Aviation flight Training. Carl is at the airport every day to manage every students’ flight training and monitor progress. With a small cadre of full time instructors and Active Duty Military Instructors with thousands of hours Piston and Jet Instruction, Accessible Aviation provides the highest possible standards of training. Our Flight School is located in Columbus Ms. (KGTR).

Mission

Our mission at Accessible Aviation is to provide the highest possible level of training for students to reach their ultimate goal in Aviation. From “Bucket List” Private Pilot License to “Zero to Hero” Commercial Single and Multi Engine Land in 6 months, we can do it! Ready for the Airlines: We make it easy for Military pilots to transition to the Airlines. Over 2000 Military pilots to ATP since 1999. Need your CFI: Initial, add-on, and CFI renewal programs available. Full time Instructors!
